My dad is here visiting, and instead of letting him relax and enjoy himself we've put him to work! He refinished our entryway floors and Built a linen closet in the hallway! They look Awesome!

After news reports all day yesterday that a blizzard was coming, this is what we woke up to! Mind you all those cars were drivin yesterday! The snow is up to the top of our Garbage cans! Poor molly wasnt too excited about going out in this! We all are home Riley has a snow day and So does George and my work is open but only a few kids showed up so I didnt have to go in!

Lola's Birthday!

Lola is two now! We celebrated her birthday at home with the family and cupcakes and presents, then a couple of weeks after Andrea and her son Andrew came to visit so we all went to Chuck-e-Cheese! We had fun eating pizza and playing all of the games, after we came home and had birthday cake! Lola had a little trouble blowing out her candles, but Andrew was right there to help!

So normally by this time I am so sick of snow and cant wait for spring to come! However this year we have had an odd winter. we didnt even really have snow on the ground until after Thanksgiving, and on New Years day it was 48 degrees outside and not a bit of of snow on the ground! So needless to day we are excited to finally have some snow to play in!

Been a while!

So was just checking out my sisters blog and realized I hadnt posted since before Halloween! Yikes, apparently she is way better blogger! Our house has been crazy and busy!

We had a nice quiet thanksgiving (just the 4 of us) and christmas was just as quiet!

Lola is getting ready to turn two in a couple of days, cant believe how quickly time goes!

I guess my New Years Resolution should be to get better at updating the pictures!

Ready for Halloween

Finally finished the costumes for the girls. They had lots of fun carving their pumpkins.

Took some pictures of the girls today! Trying to get Lola to sit still long enough to get a good picture was next to impossible and getting them to both look good together was quite a challenge! Here's what we got!

Lola is in a big girl bed now! Once she's asleep she stays in it all night, but getting her to stay in it when we put her to bed is sometimes a challenge. She usually comes down at least twice wearing rileys shoes to show us how pretty she is!

We are having so much fun with our cousins! Can't wait for them to come visit again!

Backyard Camping

Last night we decided to camp out in the back yard. We got the tent set up made our beds and started the fire. Lola loves s'mores. So much that she had to take hers with her on the swing. When it was time to go inside to get on our pj's Riley decided that she didnt really like sleeping outside and just wanted to sleep in her bed. So we packed up and moved back inside! Oh well maybe next time!
